MAVIS GOES ‘LIVE’

When the announcement for closure of tuition centers was made, we were plunged into the deep waters of online learning almost immediately. We may not have all the answers nor is our system perfect, but we assure you that your child will continue to receive the best from us as always. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate through these unprecedented times together.
We took up the challenge to provide your child with a fully “live” and interactive learning experience with a teacher during lessons just like their regular classes. It was not easy, but we managed and will continue to improve.

We are grateful to our center managers and administrative colleagues who had gone above and beyond their frontline duties during this crucial period. Undoubtedly, we are also thankful to all our teachers, who had worked through many nights to gain proficiency at conducting lessons online and modify typical classroom materials for the online platform.

• “Live” online lessons with our full-time tutors

• To find out more about our ‘Live’ lessons schedules, click this link: https://www.mavistutorial.com/schedule

• Our friendly support staff is also available to answer all your queries through our regular branch contact number, email and social media platforms.

All this hard work is part of our core beliefs that our children’s learning, health and safety are of utmost importance. We were happily rewarded by endearing messages of support, encouragement and care from you, the parents, that were so moving, uplifting and motivating for us.

Stay healthy, stay safe and continue to entrust your children’s to learning to us. Together we will get through this and your children will once again be in our classroom where, learning, experimenting filled with joyous laughter will fill the halls again!

Once again, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!

‘A Microscope is a laboratory instrument used to examine objects too small for the naked eyes, for instance, plant cells or animal cells.’ This instrument is usually not the kind of ‘gadget’ students would ‘play’ with in their lessons. ✅ Watch what happens when a 11 year old (Primary 5) get his/her hands on one in class! ✅ Watch our P5s’ intriguing moments when they get to open their PERSONAL microscopes for the very first time!At Mavis, our belief in learning is not about the proverbial ‘the filling of an empty cup’, but rather ‘the lighting of a fire’ in our students’ lives instead. With this, we inspire them to be a better version of themselves! ... See MoreSee Less

It’s been exactly a year ago when Singapore announced the start of its circuit breaker period. Many changes had taken place and all of us were trying to adapt at lightning speed! The same happened to our Sec 4 students. We were worried for them as they were sitting for their milestone exams in a few months. ❓How did we ensure that they benefitted from our online lessons ? ❓Were they prepared for their exams? ❓How much would they be affected by the reduced syllabus? Those questions weighed heavily on our minds as the CB continued past June.As we remember this unique and challenging period, we are absolutely relieved to know that they have done us proud. Tough times don’t last, tough people do! It is this period that true tenacity and grit surfaced as we witnessed the success stories of our graduating Sec 4 2020 batch! Congratulations once again for your hard work! It really paid off!📩Message us today to find out how we can help your child achieve similar results in their exams! ... See MoreSee Less
