What is the Mavis Rewards Program?
The Mavis Rewards Program is a system designed to recognise and encourage academic excellence among Mavis students. Students can earn “Mavis Miles” for achieving academic milestones and demonstrating critical thinking skills in class. These miles can then be redeemed for exciting rewards!
How can I earn Mavis Miles?
You can earn Mavis Miles through a few different ways:
In-class participation: Your teacher can award you miles for answering challenging questions, demonstrating critical thinking skills, and actively engaging in class discussions.
Academic achievements: You can claim miles for achieving good grades in your subjects taken at Mavis.
Awards and recognition: Students who receive Edusave Scholarships, Merit Bursaries, or Good Progress Awards can redeem miles based on their achievement.
How many miles can I earn for each achievement?
The number of miles you can earn for each achievement varies.
In-class participation: You can earn 10 miles for demonstrating critical thinking and strong subject knowledge through insightful responses.
Academic achievements:
SA1/SA2 results for A1/AL1/Band 1 subjects: 50 miles per semester.
SA1/SA2 results for A2/AL2/Band 2 subjects: 20 miles per semester.
SA1/SA2 results for all other grades: 10 miles per semester.
Awards and recognition:
Edusave Scholarship/Edusave Scholarship for Independent schools: 150 miles per year.
Edusave Merit Bursary: 50 miles per year.
Good Progress Award: 50 miles per year.
What are the different reward options available?
You can browse the full list of available rewards on this website, with their redemption value.
Can I transfer my miles to another student?
Yes, Mavis Miles are transferable and not unique to the student who earned them. You can give or trade your miles to other students within the program.
How long do I have to redeem my Mavis Miles?
Your accumulated miles do not expire and can be redeemed at any time while you are enrolled in the program.
What happens to my miles if I leave the program?
Unfortunately, any accumulated miles will be forfeited upon leaving Mavis.
Are there any limits to how many miles I can earn?
There is no limit to how many miles you can earn. The more you participate, achieve, and demonstrate your knowledge, the more miles you’ll accumulate!
What happens if I lose my miles?
It is your responsibility to ensure your miles are well taken care of. Any miles lost by the student will not be reimbursed by the centre.
Can I exchange my Mavis Miles for cash?
No. Mavis Miles are not worth real money and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Where can I find information about the program's progress and announcements?
Stay tuned for updates on the Mavis Rewards Program through announcements in class, on our website, and through your centre’s communication channels.
Can I use my miles at other Mavis centres?
The Mavis Rewards Program is only available at Select branches (Compass One, Tampines, Seletar Mall) and can only be redeemed at these locations. Miles earned from one centre are redeemable at other centres currently participating in the program.
How can I get involved in the Mavis Rewards Program?
You’re already involved! To participate, simply engage in your classes, strive for academic excellence, and redeem your miles for the rewards you want!
